Personalised support with your new rescue dog in Taunton, Wellington & Bridgwater, Somerset.
Practical, effective advice to support you through your first few weeks or months with your new furry friend.
Taking on a new rescue dog can be an exciting but also daunting time.
You might not know their history or what things they like, it could be a few weeks (or maybe months!) before their true personality starts to shine through and this can leave us questioning whether we’ve made the right decision.
With experience sharing my own home and life with rescue dogs, and having volunteered in rescue, I’ve met many second (or even third!) hand pooches, with different backgrounds and personalities. Every one of these dogs has something new to teach us, and I’d be honoured to be part of that journey with you!

Frequently asked questions
When can I start training with my new rescue dog?
All dogs will need time to settle into their new home before they are ready to start training, with some dogs needing more time than others. Get in touch for a free, no obligation chat, to discuss when starting this programme would be best for your dog.
I’m not sure my dog is ready for training yet but I’d love to start building our relationship, can you help?
Yes! I can help you find fun and meaningful ways to engage with your new dog at home which don’t involve training at first. Get in touch for a free, no obligation chat, to see if this would be a good fit for you and your dog.
